FVSource and the Dutch Business Association Vietnam, or DBAV, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding under the Ready to Export Program.
The partnership brings together DBAV’s business network and program coordination with FVSource’s practical experience in sourcing, manufacturing, and international trade. Through this cooperation, both organizations aim to support selected Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises as they prepare for international business opportunities.
What Is the Ready to Export Program?
The Ready to Export Program, also known as the R2E program, is an export development initiative designed to help Vietnamese SMEs improve their ability to enter and operate in international markets.
Organized by the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV), the program will return for its second edition from 2026 to 2027. Funded by the Government of the Netherlands, it is expected to support approximately 90 selected Vietnamese companies. Participation is free for eligible businesses.
R2E combines sector-focused workshops, mentoring, practical guidance and business connections. Participating SMEs can strengthen key areas such as product positioning, production readiness, quality requirements, pricing, documentation and communication with overseas partners.
The program focuses on helping businesses identify and address practical gaps before entering a new market.
In the video below, a representative of the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Vietnam explains the purpose of R2E and how it helps Vietnamese SMEs prepare for international business opportunities.
DBAV’s Role in the Program
DBAV stands for the Dutch Business Association Vietnam. The association promotes business cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands by connecting companies, industry professionals, and institutional partners.
As the organization coordinating the Ready to Export Program, DBAV manages the overall program framework and brings together the different parties involved in supporting participating SMEs.
Its network also helps Vietnamese companies gain greater exposure to European business practices, market expectations and potential partnership opportunities.

FVSource’s Role as a Strategic Partner
As a strategic partner, FVSource will support mentoring and practical guidance activities for selected SMEs participating in the program, drawing on its experience in sourcing, manufacturing and international trade.
Its involvement may include contributing to workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions and other relevant program activities. During these sessions, FVSource can share practical perspectives gained from working with international companies and manufacturing partners in Vietnam and across Asia.
For many SMEs, having a strong product is only the starting point. They may also need to demonstrate consistent production, prepare suitable documentation, review their packaging or pricing, and present their capabilities more clearly to overseas companies.
By sharing practical industry experience through the R2E Program, FVSource will help participating SMEs better understand these considerations and prepare for the next steps in their export development.

Strengthening Export Readiness
The MOU creates a framework for FVSource and DBAV to combine complementary capabilities within the Ready to Export Program.
DBAV provides program coordination and access to Dutch and European business networks. FVSource supports selected activities with practical knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing and international trade.
For participating SMEs, this cooperation provides an opportunity to assess their current capabilities, gain relevant market insights and build a more realistic approach to international expansion.
The partnership also reflects a shared objective: helping Vietnamese businesses prepare more effectively for working with international partners and developing sustainable opportunities beyond the domestic market.
